Holistic Horizons Support Services is a family owned and operated business, which was launched in September 2016. We began by providing Holistic Disability Support for clients living on the Redcliffe Peninsula, ensuring that quality service was affordable. Word quickly spread and more staff were brought on board to support new clients.

In July 2017, the business was growing so rapidly that it became obvious that premises were needed. We sourced a property opposite the Redcliffe Hospital which is perfect for the services Holistic Horizons provides.

In September 2019, we acquired a modern four bedroom home in the suburb of Newport for respite accomodation purposes.

In December 2019, with our management staff growing, we moved to our new office location in Margate.

Early 2020 with three more new four bedroom homes in Newport, we extended our accomodation services to offer medium term, and supported independent living.

Our services now extend from the greater Brisbane area south to the Gold Coast and north to the Sunshine Coast area.


In September 2017, Holistic Horizons opened the doors of our Redcliffe Hub, and began providing short term respite. This gave our client’s carers a well-earned break, and allowed clients the opportunity to enjoy time away from home.

Each spacious bedroom has a comfortable double bed,  and a fresh decor. There is a large communal games room where small groups can enjoy a pool table, air hockey and Netflix. Clients can enjoy various craft activities, including mosaics, sewing, computer, a TV lounge room, home cooked meals and a great outdoor area.

Some of our client’s achievements include obtaining boat licences – a goal which seemed impossible before they found our service. Other clients  enjoy learning to cook, using public transport, becoming more independent, and developing relationships with others. Many of our autistic clients have improved the way they communicate with others, and have increased their confidence.

Focusing on the client’s abilities, rather than their disabilities, and valuing the input from parents and carers has resulted in the company going from strength to strength.

Working one on one, or in small groups of up to 3 clients, the company focuses on supporting clients to achieve their goals, and to find purpose in their lives. Whatever our client’s goals and aspirations may be, Holistic Horizons will do our utmost to make it possible.
